RESDA University of Business & Technology (RUBT) was envisioned as a future-ready higher education institution dedicated to transforming Bangladesh’s academic landscape by integrating business education, technology innovation, and industry-driven learning.

The idea of establishing RUBT originated from the growing gap between traditional academic systems and the rapidly evolving demands of the global job market. While thousands of graduates were entering the workforce each year, many lacked practical skills, digital competency, and entrepreneurial readiness.

To address this challenge, RESDA IT & Training Institute, under the visionary leadership of Mohammad Arifuzzaman, conceptualized the creation of a full-fledged university that would bridge academia with industry.

Thus, RUBT was born as a long-term educational vision—designed not only to award degrees but to create skilled leaders, entrepreneurs, innovators, and technology professionals.

Afseen Eco Hollow Block & Bricks Industry was established with a vision to introduce modern, sustainable, and eco-friendly construction materials in Bangladesh’s rapidly growing infrastructure and real estate sector.

The initiative was developed under the broader Afseen Group of Industries, with a strategic focus on supporting green construction practices and reducing environmental impact in the building materials industry.

With increasing urbanization and large-scale construction demand, the traditional brick industry in Bangladesh faced challenges such as environmental pollution, high production costs, and inefficiency in structural performance.

Recognizing these issues, Afseen Eco Hollow Block & Bricks Industry was launched to provide a modern alternative using eco-friendly hollow blocks and advanced construction materials that offer durability, strength, and sustainability.

Afseen Construction

Afseen Construction was established with a vision to build modern infrastructure, sustainable developments, and high-quality construction solutions that contribute to Bangladesh’s growing urban transformation.

The foundation of the company was inspired by the increasing demand for reliable construction partners capable of delivering residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects with professionalism, quality, and innovation.

After years of experience in banking, business development, real estate, and strategic management, Mohammad Arifuzzaman identified a major challenge within the construction sector—many projects suffered from delays, quality issues, poor planning, and lack of transparent execution.

To address these challenges, Afseen Construction was launched as a solution-driven construction company focused on delivering excellence from planning to project completion.

Many landowners possessed valuable land in prime and developing locations but lacked:

RESDA IT & Training Institute

The Information Technology (IT) department allows AFSEEN to improve both the performance and overall effectiveness of products, systems and services, which, in turn, enables businesses to expand quickly and efficiently. IT has a wide range of potential effects on operations, productivity, profitability and sustainability of AFSEEN.

AFSEEN’s IT department offers state of the art infrastructure and enterprise applications to improve communication in the workplace and also with clients, managing business systems to improve the way they design and manage customer relationships. Technology in AFSEEN also enhances the business chain like Order to Customer (O2C), Logistics, Procure to Pay (P2P), Plan to Manufacture (P2M) and improves overall business management. IT in the workplace also improves the efficiency of recruiting, screening and hiring potential candidates for AFSEEN.

AFSEEN is always focusing on and adapting new technology like the Internet of Things (IoT), Robotic Process Automation (RPA), image processing for implementing the technology-driven business model. AFSEEN has also introduced and implemented the first-ever DNA network in Bangladesh.

Another important action of AFSEEN’s IT is to provide security to a business. Major advancements in electronic security systems, state of the art firewalls, cutting edge surveillance systems and biometric systems are helping to keep businesses safe.
